Services & Prices
Complete doula packages start as low as $350.
Charges are determined using a sliding scale that is based upon your income. The average charge is usually around $500.
Complete doula package includes:
1 free consultation appointment, no obligation, to decide if you are comfortable with me and want to retain my services.
2 (not limited to) prenatal meetings to discuss your birthing options, concerns, and to develop a birth plan.
Labor/Birth attendance from the first signs of labor until 2 hours after your baby’s birth.
2 (not limited to) post-partum home visits to review and discuss your birth experience and to help with breastfeeding and other newborn concerns.
Telephone support. I am available by phone anytime during your pregnancy and post-partum period to answer questions, make suggestions, and give referrals.
Access to my lending library of books and videos.
Accompaniment to prenatal medical appointments and/or classes: $25 for medical appointments, no charge for classes.
Belly Casting: $25, you provide the casting materials and I do the casting for you.
Herbal placenta preparation, based on Traditional Chinese Medicine methods: $150.
* I am happy to customize a package that will suit your needs. We can discuss exactly what type of services you desire, and decide on an appropriate charge.
Payment options:
Payment plans may be accepted.
I will occasionally work for trade or partial trade.
I will accept an occasional client free of charge, please inquire.
* I strongly believe that all women who want a doula should have one, regardless of their ability to pay. Please inquire about payment options. If I can’t help you, I’m happy to refer you to someone who can.
